I’m trying to understand the render cache as I sometimes get messages that I’m out of space for rendered files and I must delete some. I need to clarify and understand what I can and cannot delete from an ongoing project.

For example, in the render file folder I have numerous files all with the same sequence name followed by FIN-00000098, 00000099, etc. And of course, some of these files are over 3 weeks old all the way up to today. Can I delete the older rendered files? When I played them in the QT player they appear to be the same clip. What’s the best approach to managing this issue?
