At my current job, I am required to store and manage really large amounts of videos that we shoot. I thought my 3 TB hard drive would be sufficient, but it’s filling up a lot quicker than I expected. This is probably the biggest challenge of my job, keeping video clips organized and protected so that I can quickly pull them up when they are needed.

Does anyone have any tips/advice on storing and managing video clips? I would like to know how other people keep their videos organized and what types of devices they use to store their videos (like 10 TB+). Are you using a particular program to keep backups of these files? Is their a specific format that I should export my After Effects projects to that use less space?

Any advice that you have would be much appreciated.
