    Hello All,

I need some advice on managing client assets for projects across the Adobe CS4 Suite. At the moment, I am considering using a seperate external eSATA hard drive for each client… Storing all their data on there, e.g. project files like *.AEPs and *.PRPROJ, and associated media files…

Would this create a problem for scratch disks? Or should I just map them to the external drive as well?

Does anyone have any experience or suggestions?

    Much appreicated.

I use external SATAII drive docks and then use a drive for each project and keep all the files on the drive. When the project is done I can put it on the shelf OR hand it off to the client.

Thanks David. I was thinking the exact same thing… Those drive docks keep down the cable clutter and the raw hard drives would file away like books on a case.

Retiring the drives before they break down is also a plus.
