[Dwight Spitz] “and was wondering how do i know if all 4 cores are working for rendering and such?”

Bring up Windows Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete), select the Performance tab and wonder no more.

I’m using am eight-core E5420 setup with Intel D5400XS Skulltrail and it uses all eight cores on most renders.
