Making the still image full frame
With a black default background, when you add a still image how do you delete the black surroundings?

To make a photograph exact the right size, it should be 655 x 480 pixels for NTSC or 787 x 576 pixels for PAL (or multiplies of this if you would like to zoom).
Ofcourse you can also zoom to fit in the track motion window or simply context-click on the still, select PROPERTIES and deselect MAINTAIN ASPECT RATIO.

Open still in pan and crop. Right click the photo in the pan and crop window and click on match output aspect.

Thank you for the right click tip!!! I can’t imagine why that isn’t a standard button. I will right click on everything from now on!
