The plug-in has a free 15 day trail. Plus I think the time you spend doing it yourself will make the plug-in well worth it. I was going to do a tutorial on this but it took like forever to explain and the plug-in could do it in seconds. Stephen,
After looking at the samples of the Particle Metrix plug-in I agree that it is well worth the price. However, I can’t help but think that there are techniques or tweaks that are used to create those or similar effects that could be useful. Maybe, instead of explaining all the minutia of the entire process, there are lessons that can be extracted from the process that apply to other uses. Just a thought. I really appreciate all the knowledge that is put forth for public education on the COW. Thanks a bunch! Keep it up! 🙂
