Making text explode with glitter
Posted by Aliya Al-hassan on October 4, 2010 at 1:04 pmHello,
am very much a begiiner-I am trying to create an opening animated graphic for a promo.
I want the text to explode onto the screen with glitter/ sparkle etc.
I have no idea how to do this.I have Sapphire plug-ins (I like thr Sparkle one) but I can’t apply them to text?
Does anyone have a way to create this look?
any help would be gratefully received!
thanks

Is there any way I can create this without buying any plug-ins?
Many thanks -

October 4, 2010 at 2:29 pmThe plug-in has a free 15 day trail. Plus I think the time you spend doing it yourself will make the plug-in well worth it. I was going to do a tutorial on this but it took like forever to explain and the plug-in could do it in seconds. Anyway, here is a link to a thread I did a while back that will get you started: https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/170/861638
Hope this helps and best of luck.

After looking at the samples of the Particle Metrix plug-in I agree that it is well worth the price. However, I can’t help but think that there are techniques or tweaks that are used to create those or similar effects that could be useful. Maybe, instead of explaining all the minutia of the entire process, there are lessons that can be extracted from the process that apply to other uses. Just a thought. I really appreciate all the knowledge that is put forth for public education on the COW. Thanks a bunch! Keep it up! 🙂 -
