I feel embarrassed asking this. I have not used Sony Vegas for some time. I have Pro 9 and got a new computer running Windows 8. Whenever I try to grab and move a single photo, block of video, or whatever, it automatically makes a selection on timeline. No matter how easy I left click the mouse, it highlights it in blue and makes a selection. I do not remember this ever happening before. Could this be a problem with my mouse? I am using a Logitech wireless but cannot find any sensitivity settings to use. This is so annoying. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

I don’t use windows 8, nor do I have any plans, but on win7 it’s in the control panel under Mouse. You may have ClickLock turned on.

Click lock is not checked, however I tried another mouse and everything works OK. I will see if I can change sensitivity settings on it and if not I will get a new mouse. Thank you for your prompt answer. It is much appreciated.
