Hi All- I got about 1TB of 6K Red footage and I’m using Premiere’s ingest feature to make proxy files with these settings- Apple Pro Res Proxy 2048X1053. I started this process 20 hours ago and I still have a quarter of the clips left. The footage is coming off of a Lacie Rugged RAID drive with Thunderbolt and my computer is a Macbook Pro with a 2.5GHz Intel processor and 16 GB of RAM. Is it normal for it to take this long? Thank you!

Okay. For some reason, it was making anywhere from 2-5 proxy files per clip. Not sure why. Will be sure to watch out for that next time. Crazy!
