I’m working on a piece at the moment which features 3 ad libbed I/V’s… Both interviews were shot multcam. Each one is the same set of 5 questions but although ad libbed there are certain bits of language we can’t use – but parts of each answer are OK.

In most circumstances I would have cut between each answer, but as I am also editing I find it useful to keep rolling so I can hear the conversation and thus know what’s going on.

So I’ve made the multicam and am going through rejecting the dead stuff and then key wording each answer by question. So I have all Q1’s etc together.

Here’s the problem. I’d like to add a little note purely to one selection along the lines of (“Don’t use that bit”), but adding a Marker adds a maker to all of it, and making a note in list view adds it to all the multicam.

Other than using Favourite can anyone think of another way?

OK weird – thought it was putting markers everywhere but turns out it doesn’t!
