I need to give a guy grey hair who now has dark brown.
It’s a pretty quick clip about 9 seconds and he is cropped alot off the frame however I need to add grey on about half his head.
There is pretty good contrast from the hair to skin and background (light skin, dark hair). The movement is slight but certainly a rotorscoping kinda thing nightmare. Not much feathering at all. No detail just mostly blotchy out of focus.I think I can get a pretty decent mask from the contrast in some way then add in white on top, at least that’s my guess but not really sure how to go about it at all.
New territory for me. All help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

You could render out a still frame psd, then in PS crop all out except needed hair, desaturate and adjust till happy, then save. This will preserve any detail that you may need. In AE fade the opacity of the stll when you need it. You will have to roto the postion if there is movement. Also try different transfer modes till you find one that works.

Hey just my two cents, no refunds:)
