  • Making footage look like 1/1000 shutter speed

I recently got some HVX 720p60 footage back from the field that was shot partially at 1/1000 sec and something more standard, I think 1/60 sec. I like the 1/1000 stuff and would like to treat the 1/60 sec stuff to look similar. I’m not sure if this is actually possible to do. I tried using the strobe filter, but it doesn’t get rid of the blurry frames and give you that crisp look. I’m considering going in manually to remove frames.
Anyone ever done this and had luck with it before?

I don’t think it’s possible. The cripsy/jumpy look you get from high shutter speeds is due to the lack of motion blur in your frames. Once you’ve filmed and have motion blur baked in – it ain’t coming out.

that’s what I was afraid of. I’m going to see if removing some of the blurrier frames will look any closer.
