Making DVD
I have created a 50 minute project in Premier Pro. All the video clips are from the actual footage of my camcorder and the transition images are from Adobe Photoshop. When I goto export to a movie, it says the file is too large and disk is full (I have over 40GB available).
When I try to burn a DVD from the DVD window, it shuts down Premier Pro. However, when I cut the DVD into 3 segments, then it allows each segment to be exported into its own movie. I want the entire 50 minutes together as one movie to burn onto a disk.
What suggestions do you have?

Is it possible that you are using a FAT32 disk instead of a NTFS disk? FAT32 is limited to 4GB per file and a DV AVI of 50 minutes is over 10GB.
Check where your scratch disks are set to go if you have more than one hard drive (which you should). Perhaps one of the drives is more full than you expect?

The disk I have is 4.7 GB. Where do you purchase disks with over 10GB of space on one side?

You don’t use DV AVI on a DVD. You create a MPEG2-DVD file which is compressed to a point that an hour fits easily on a DVD.
You can’t just copy a file to the DVD. You need to use Encore to author the DVD, or fix your problem with Premiere Pro shutting down.
