making cogs
Posted by Jessica Shaughnessy on April 28, 2010 at 10:47 amHi,
I am trying to create cogs that I can turn in Apple Motion 4. I don’t know the programme that well, only how to play around with the templates so I’ve been searching online and can only find tutorials on how to do it in After Effects.
Can anybody give me any quick pointers on how to do this?
Many thanks in anticiaption
Jess

April 28, 2010 at 3:39 pmTo find them in Motion go to the File Browser. Click on the Library tab or hit the Command and 2 keys to open up the Library. Look for a folder called “Content”. Click on the Content folder. Click on the Gadgets folder. Locate the “Belt Drive” asset and you have some cogs. Hope this helps and best of luck.

April 28, 2010 at 6:18 pmHey, Jessica. If you think THAT was great, you ought to buy Stephen’s training DVD, “Moving with Motion”. It’s getting great reviews!
No need to thank me, Stephen. Just send commissions. 😉
