Let’s say I have a 3 minute clip in my bin. I use portions of the clip 9 times throughout my long sequence. I’d like to add a filter to all 9 clips. Do I have to find all 9 clips and copy the filter to each one, or is there a way to edit the master clip and it automatically goes to each of the 9 instances?

Do a find of that clipname in the timeline, then all the clips are highlighted. Drag a filter from the browser to one of the clips and they will all accept the filter.
