    Hi,

I’m trying to get a pro look for a menu I’m working on by importing into Encore 2 (a) a video file, with buttons fading in after about a second and (b) a psd of subpicture images.

But I’m having a few problems tying it all together.

I’ve imported the psd as a menu, which I think is correct, and set the video as a bg. But how would I set it so that the highlights don’t become visible (or clickable) until the button images on the video have fully faded in?

I see this on dvds all the time, but it is possible with Encore?

    Thanks for your attention,
    S

Set the menu’s loop point property to the time when you want the highlights to appear.

    Thanks, Jeff

So simple! I’d ignored that property because I didn’t want the menu to loop and didn’t think it would be useful.

    Best,
    S
