Hello all. I just recently got the trapcode plugins for After Effects and have been playing with them non-stop for the past couple days. They are awesome. I have been trying to go through this tutorial I found on the trapcode website, https://www.ayatoweb.com/ae_tips_e/ae45_e.html# And I got stuck on step five and have been banging my head against the wall, for the past few hours. The step is
Create Logo Outline Path using Illustrator.
    (It is Single Path)
    Create a New Composition. (640×480)
Create a Black New Solid. (640×480)
Copy and Paste to Mask Path from Illustrator.

The part I can’t figure out is how to make my illustration a single path. I am sure it is some very simple easy thing, but for the life of me I can’t figure it out. Anyone who can offer any assistance, I would be most grateful. I love the forums here and have learned so much just from reading, but I finally have a question that I am hoping someone can help me resolve. Thanks in advance.

It looks pretty straight forward, you could use the Pen Tool in AE, just start with the pen at one spot, then go around the logo staying in the top half of the letters, then come back on the bottom, outlining the bottom half of the letters, until you reach the beginning vertex, then complete the mask, no?
