Hi is it posible to create a ntsc 29.97 pull down from a 24p or 23.98p tape playing on a hdcam m2000 vcr since this machine has no pulldown fonction can i use the multibridge in reel time and can i keep the original time code of course not frame acurate but it will follow the timecode break jump that occur on shooting i’m guessing that my only option is to caputre in premiere 2.0 and export back to tape but is premiere keeping the timecode intact regarding time code break jump ???

I don’t know the answer to this question (I would love to know if the Blackmagic can do it), but you can do this with external hardware. Cobalt Digital makes the 8021 converter, which will do a 2:3 hardware pulldown. I use this on AVID Adrenaline HD systems with the
    HDW-M2000/10, and it works great.

This is an important question, and I hope someone from Blackmagic responds.
