Making a matte to reveal text – Need Help!
I have a quicktime file that’s a black and white “matte” of what looks like bleeding. I want to use it to reveal my text so the text looks like it nicely bled on. So I brought in the quicktime and made my text layer. I’ve tried just switching the matte to luma or alpha but all that does is put the bleed inside the text. I want to use it more of a transparency thing to reveal the text not be inside it. Just confused on what settings I need to switch to do that.

Nevermind! I just was adjusting the quicktime and not the text layer. I got it now.
