Making a mask loop separately from pan/zoom
I made a post yesterday (Though I don’t see it anywhere, which is concerning since it was my first one on this forum) regarding splitting a mask into two, but I got antsy and decided to just remask the whole thing.
So now my clip’s all masked out, it’s a scene of two characters bouncing in place. I’m hoping to make them pan across various backgrounds, but to do so I’d need to loop the clip and move the camera, but while keeping the mask completely intact.
I’m wondering if there’s any easy way to go about this. I have the masked clip set as a subclip, and when I expand it and make it loop that way, the mask doesn’t loop along with the clip, though when I duplicate the clip and try to do it that way, I can’t have a single constant pan across multiple bounces.
I tried rendering the clip and then just stretching the rendered clip, but it lost the alpha channel when it rendered. Anyone got any suggestions?
