Making a logo transparent
I have a logo that I’m trying to export from photoshop and bring in to FCP. Can someone tell me how to take a logo that has a background and make it transparent so that we only see the words on the screen? Transparent I guess?

What you are looking for is an image with an alpha channel. Search on alpha channel or take a look at this tutorial — it should get you where you need to go.
