I use Episode. FCP has no Flash encoder built in. It requires third party support.

Sorenson does a pretty nice job making flash movies.

The best as far as quality and file size is sorenson squeeze, but it’s a little pricey for those who don’t want to spend the buck. i also use visualhub. it is the easy program to use in the whole world. it can convert to many useful formats really fast, and its cheap.

Both Sorenson and Episode have licensed and incorporate the same On2 Technologies Flash encoder. Episode I found to be substantially faster than Squeeze.

    All the best,

You can also buy Flix Pro directly from On2 Technology. They have a free trial version. They also have Flix Exporter, which is an FCP plugin, but it doesn’t let you attach a player to your flash files.

If you want to post a Flash video on a web site, do you need anything else besides Episode or Sorenson? Is the player included in the program?
