Hi all! I’m very new to cinema 4d and would like to know how one can squeeze a sphere in the y axis from both sides for it to look like a cell. I saw Andrew Kramer doing it in 3dmax and he used a tool called squeeze witch was pretty easy.
I’m trying to do it with the soft selection and the middle part looks nice but the edges are too sharp, i want it to make it look like a torus with a smooth transition from the center to the edges and no hole in the middle.
Thanks and sorry for such a basic question.

Should be able to do it with soft selection, are you using Surface mode? The other thought is to make it by lathing a spline of the right shape.
