I had a post on here for creating a 3D box and got a couple of responses but one of them sent me a script to use but after effects keeps popping up this when I try to run it…
‘Unable to execute script at line 26.After Effects error:Unable to call “addSolid” because of parameter 3. NaN is not an integer.’ https://wemads.com/stuff/3d_cube.zip this is the script. Any other ideas on making a 3D box would be great or any explanation about this script. Thanx so much!

okay it is working…well sorta. when I dup[licate the layer a message comes up saying After Effects warning: Class ‘Layer’ has no property or method named ‘x’ Expression disabled.
    Error occurred at line 41. Comp:’Comp 1′ Layer 7 ….and so on
The First layer is off to the left when I parent them all to a null the rest of them make the cube. Thanks

Err, I’m not a computer with AE and I don’t have the script that you’re alluding to. Please re-post with the script if you still need some assistance. I do recall that all of your layers have to be the top six witihn the comop for the Expression to work.

    Creating a Box Thread

Dude, you really have to do some work on your own. The following info was in the thread I gave you. Read it. And if it still doesn’t work then re-read the entire thread again until you get it.

Well you are getting this error because the layers that make the box have to be the topmost layers in the composition. You could place the null below the box layers, and then turn back on the expressions that had the error but I have a better solution:

1 – Make sure you are working in a square pixel comp
2 – Apply the expressions to the layers and make the box
3 – Select All the box layers and press “ee” to bring up all parameters that have expressions applied
4 – Select these parameters and go to Animation > Keyframe Assistaant > convert expression to keyframes
5 – Now parent all your layers to a null, add light(s), camera(s) and you are good to go.
