  • Make Movie -problem….

    Hi,
I have an After Effects CS4, and it has worked very well, until now.
My problem is this: when I have a videoclip and I used an effect Keying, and Keylight 1.2. Ok, it’s doing the job as it should.
But, when I choose Make Movie -command, and I would like to use in Output Module format FLV and Channels RGB+Alpha it’s not possible.
I can choose only RGB or Alpha, but not both of them.

What should I do now? I have uninstalled program several times, didn’t help.

A bit of searching can save you frustration and time. Here’s a quote from a useful thread [link]:

“To include the alpha channel in the FLV output, use the On2 VP6 codec and select Encode Alpha Channel in the Video tab of the Adobe Flash Video export settings dialog box.”

    Hi Ted,
I forgot to tell, that when I choose FLV and click the Format Options…-button, everything go to jamm. So, I don’t get any options to choose 😉

You can open the AE project in Adobe Media Encoder, choose the comp you want to render and render from Encoder.
If that does not work, give more info:
OS, RAM, Processor, Latest updates to AE?, What version of AE?
