Make logo gleam/diagonally gleam (FCP 7)
I have a logo/icon I’m having pop up intermittently in a corner as an indicator & attention grabber…almost like a counter for reality game shows, but with just the logo instead of a counter.
I want the logo to have a diagonal gleam/shine move across it to help get the audience’s attention and make it look smooth-I don’t have the right wording for it, but many logos on TV do this.
Somehow I’m guessing this might be more done in title motion-type programs, but I don’t know or have any such program. Is there a way to do this & make it look decent in FCP? It’s 720P video for a company youtube channel.
For context: The logo is actually the visual component add-on to a bell sound effect.

You can do it in Motion. Check out FinalCutKing. It is called awesome text effect. It is the first one on the page.
