Hallo i have imported some imx30 discs into fcp and as always they appear in the browser as lose clips (a clip was made everytime you start and stop the camera). I find this difficult to work with. i love modernday editing but i love to spot the footage like a tape so that you can scrawl thru the whole disc without having to load another clip. I can not imagine that such a simple function isn’t to be found in fcp i just do not now where to look..right?
    Help please…

Thanks for all the response guys!you have again been of great help. this is either a to difficult question or nowbody care’s about it.The good thing is…i think i came up with an answer. I don’t know if it is the smartest way to do it but i am shure you folks will correct me at once…ha ha ha. Well i’v dropped all my clips(or the bins with the clips in it) in a timeline then i made a quicktime movie of it and inported that into the browser. You can now laod this clip into the vieuwer and edit. Now you can spot a if you were spotting a tape( one long clip) so that you can mutch better keep track of the chain of events. in my case a marathon.
I hope i made somebody happy.
