Make Fire Flicker
OK, all Im trying to do is to make a photoshop layer of a fire flicker. I’ve played around with opacity but going in and setting key frames every few frames is a pain in the ass. Does anyone have a better suggestion.

If you need to randomly change the opacity level every few frames, use the wiggle expression.
Alt-Click on your opacity stop watch, then type:
wiggle(frequency, amount)
Example:
wiggle(12, 5) – this would modify the opacity 12 times per second, by five units each time. So if your opacity is set to 50%, this expression would adjust your opacity from 45 – 55 percent, twelve times each second.
