  • Make A Texture Map in FCP???

    Hi,

I want to know if my garden variety FCP HD can do the following:

I want to overly a clients logo over a curtain background, and then have the logo look as if it’s blended with the curtain as it moves at the same time as the curtain.

I believe this is called texure mapping.

I know I can do it in Motion and AE, but I don’t have either.

I do have Boris Continuum, if that helps.

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Wayne

If you have my book, you also will have Telly’s FX written by Graeme Nattress.

    Tellys FX > Telly’s Bumpmap
Add the filter to the text clip
Drop the curtain clip into the well (Unlike the FCP version, the “WELL” is unlocked.
    Tweak to taste

    Otherwise, you’ll need AE.
BCC has displacement but not bumpmapping.
