    Hello,

I bought a fire place online.
Several models, they look realy nice.

One problem: the fire is animated (thats what they told me).

There is a nice fire in the preview
, a material with a fire, a UWV tag and a phong tag.

Can anyone tell me how to animate the fire?
It seems the fire will nog go on…maybe i miss something?

    thanks for the help.

without seeing the fireplace models or the place you got them from etc (more info) it’s really hard to tell.

that doesn’t include the jpegs for the color/luminance/alpha channels but those are just jpegs so are not a video file which would be one way to animate the fire. Animating the fire planes would be another way particularly in combination with an animated texture… there are more possibilities but what I’m seeing doesn’t seem to have any of the telltale signs that would make me think ‘animated’ that I can see.
