Major Photoshop CS2 Woes!!!
I have a 3 GigaHz P4 system w/a gig of ram running XP and I am having major problems with getting CS2 to run.
Photoshop comes up but only partially. The tool bar on the left side of the screen is completely empty and all the program does is lock up to the point I have to use the Task Manager to shut it down.
Illustrator nor any of the other programs wont come up due to “Adobe CoolType imitation” or “Adobe CoolType libary” problems.
I have found no way to install additional CoolType functions.
The good folks @ Adobe seem to be no help. So I’m asking the cow!!!

Try opening the Task Manager, then in the Applications window, double click on Photoshop and see if that forces the window completely open. I was having similar issues with the Adobe help window, where it would open as a minimized window, but would not open when clicking on it nor when you click restore or maximize, but the task manager did the trick and seemed to jog the window open correctly. If not, sounds like you might have downloaded something that’s not compatible with CS2.
