MAJOR BUG: Kona 6.02 software
I installed the software update two days ago when it came out and found a huge major bug immediately.
When you Print to Video, you’ll notice that the Kona will loose sync at random times. It looks like a blink on the screen but you’ll loose video and audio for a moment and my monitor (Panasonic BT-LH2600W) will reset the screen. I do have a sync generator connected (AJA GEN10). This is a random event so pinpointing it will be very tough.
I had to uninstall the software and back down to the 6.01 software. Now everything is fine again. So….. That is a huge indicator that the Kona 6.02 software has an issue – at least with our edit stations.
Anybody else seen this yet?

Did you update the OS as well? We have not as I have gotten multiple emails from manufacturers telling me not to update to 10.5.6 yet as there are issues.

But, no, I have not upgraded to 10.5.6 yet. To many large projects going on for that.
