I’m going to be putting a dvd together with extensive title animations. I bring them into the premiere pro timeline and it loses a lot of quality. How should I be doing this. Is there a way i should be exporting it, or should I drag it into the encore timeline when I go to make the dvd?

How are you getting it out of AE right now?

I am “making the movie” from the composition drop bar.

unless you have production premium, adobe won’t drag and drop timelines and projects around, you have to render them out.

i do. I mean that i drag the rendered product into the time line i am working on in premiere.

i export the title animation from after effects as an avi i believe. im just wondering why, when i take the exported title animation into premiere, it loses quality and gets blurry and a little pixelated

there are lots of avi’s, is yours uncompressed or mpeg and in premiere, interpret fields lower for ntsc dv, etc.
