    maintaing transparency when exporting

    I am having some trouble when exporting a segment a did in motion. I would really like for it to be transparent so I can lay it over video in FCP. Any suggestions.?

    Which version of FCP? In FCP v4.5 or v5, you don’t even have to export the video out of motion, you can simply import the Motion project into FCP & lay it over your footage, then render in FCP. Same with Live Type projects.
