Is there a really easy way without having to go to Soundtrack, to maintain audio pitch when slowing a clip down. So for instance, if you slow a clip to say 80% so that it goes from 30p to 24P and you want the voices to sound the same.

You could TRY the AU Pitch shift audio filter in FCP… but 20% is a long way to go…

Just did a test… pitch shift of about 250 is almost what you need for 80% video to sound ‘correct’… AND it wasn’t too bad.

Thanks, I appreciate your help. I normally use Premiere Pro and there is a button that you can check or uncheck if you want to maintain the audio pitch, so I was hoping that Final Cut had a similar or comparable built in feature. Thanks for researching it for me.
