Mainconcept 720 vs Sony 720 mp4

I’ve been working a long form educational project for a year. I am about to upload 720P Files to eudemy. For the past year I’ve been using the Mainconcept 720 mp4 for scratch renders. I have been quite happy with this. The only negative I’ve seen is some pixilation on dissolves. My shots are quite static. Lately I’ve seen some comments with people singing the praises of the Sony mp4. I also see a bug fix relating to the mainconcept encoder which I wasn’t aware of. So I’m a bit under the gun and a little nervous about changing encoders at the last minute. Are there opinions out there, that would form a compelling reason to use the Sony over the mainconcept?

For me personally, i get better renders using the Sony AVC…

I did a test and seemed to me that Sony was equal or possibly better.
Hard to judge, but I’m going to give it a shot.
