Main output LED display out on Yamaha EMX512sc mixer
Hello everyone. I have an EMX512 that works fine except for the mains LEDs. Both L&R displays are dead. There are two LED drivers in there, but I find it strange that both sides are out. Any ideas? Thanks.

A fault like that which affects multiple circuits often turns out to be a power issue. Perhaps there is a faulty connection where the power is provided to the display circuits.

Thanks, John. I’ll look into that. One other thing I discovered, is that there is an output option that puts one power amp (the mixer has two power amps) under the control of the monitor out master. When in that mode the monitor out LEDs do not work either, but when switched to to L&R out mode controlled by one master knob, the monitor section is just outputting a preamp level send, in that mode the monitor leds work fine. If that makes sense. :>)
