I have slate information burnt into the black mask at the top and bottom of my 3D footage, it’s really small type, and the only way I can read it is by zooming in and sliding my frame around. I feel this approach is unnecessarily time consuming. Is there a magnify tool in premiere. Like a magnifying glass utility so I can hold my mouse over a part of the image and a magnified region will pop up ?

    Hi Justin,

How are you zooming in? You can increase the display size percentage in the Program Monitor window, I think that would be quickest if not already doing it that way.

    Thanks

    Thanks for responding Jeff.
Currently that is how I am zooming in. It’s a two stage process for me. I switch the drop down from Fit to %100, then with the scroll bars I slide my frame around to find the text. Since I am doing this regularly it starts to feel unnecessarily time consuming. So I was hoping someone knew of a faster way to do this, maybe there is a magnify utility in Premiere ?
The hotkeys for zooming in are suppose to be ctl+2, this isn’t working for me. Is there another hotkey for zooming into the Monitor window (I am working on a PC)
