Magma Expansion Upgrade Failed… :(
Hi All,
Well, the worst case scenario actually happened. I bought a G5 Dual 2.0 and a Magma (used on EBAY). I have two PCI Firewire 800 cards in the Mac and attached to those are two WiebeTech dual drives. I was busy working on a project and I got two “real time system errors” and the video stalled. 🙁HELP!

you’re not trying to play back lossless media are you? I’ve noticed in my expnsion chassis config that it’ll try to play lossless, and then go all wonky.
M100 tells me that the lossless chip is doing something else in the expansion chassis.

No, everything was digitized at 250 KB per frame.
