  Magic Wand VS. Quick Selection Tool

  1. Are there general guidelines for when the Magic Wand works better than the Quick Selection tool and vice versa?

  2. Is the idea of the Quick Selection Tool to simply drag over the area you want to select, as if you were painting over it?
