    Hi Forum, I’m making a fantasy style film and our protagonist has a sword that I wasnt to add a sort of glowing/shimmering effect to. Can anyone recommend a method for doing this that won’t look too over the top?

    Check out the light saber tutorials at videocopilot. You may be able to modify that effect to get just a subtle glow/shimmer effect.
