Magic bullet suite want to install on an external drive
I’m trying to install the RG Magic Bullet suite on my PC for AE CS5 64 bit. Everytime I run the install, it won’t give me a choice of where to install it. It reads that my K drive has so much space and so much space is needed, yada yada…
Why does it want to install on one of my external drives in the first place? It doesn’t give me a choice and when I launch AE Magic Bullet doesn’t show up in the plug-ins. Any ideas? One thing…the free Colorista installed just fine however…go figure. lol

Some of the RG plugins go to odd places when you install them – there’s information on this at the RG site, I think it’s in the FAQ, since it’s a common occurence. I have the Trapcode Suite, Magic Bullet Suite, and Effects Suite, and had mixed luck with the install. However, by manually finding where the install went, then copying and pasting the files, it all will work fine. Here’s a link to a RG PDF – there’s mention of the proper locations:
