    Hi,

I have a problem with magic bullet look, using AE CS6.
I just installed the latest update via red giant link, and the problem remain.

The footage is prores 422 4.5k, but in a 1080 comp. ( I also try it with the original size, same thing happen)

If it’s at half res or less, everything work fine.
But the second i put it in full res, it become black, and render that way too,
so it’s not just a preview issue.

By unchecking effect one at a time, i spot the problem on Look.

If i put Look on an adjustment layer, everything work fine again.
But because of the tracking and because a person pass over the 2nd shot(which have another look applied), i am trying to avoid the option of kreyfaming the adjustment layer.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Jonathan

It might work if you put it in comp size 720×480. I’m guessing you have the SD plugin not HD.
I’m keeping this post up because some people don’t buy the right plugin

I bet this is a GPU problem. 4K is a magic number that limits texture size for some GPUs/drivers/software — and that might be why it works at half res (2.25K), but fails at full res (4.5K).

Open the Looks interface, then under its File > Preferences, change the renderer from GPU (OpenGL) to CPU and see if that helps.
