There doesn’t appear to be a version of Looks available for 32bit Vegas, but I have heard and read of the ability to use this plugin in the 32bit build. Can someone please explain this? I own the entire suite and would rather not have to learn CS5 in order to use Looks. Mojo works without an issue. Looks, however, is only available in Windows for Avid, AE and Premeire. No 32bit Vegas.

    Thank you for your time!

Only the early versions of magic bullet looks are compatible
with sony Vegas. They recently came out with a new version (1.4.3)
which does not rely entirely on GPU processing BUT drop support for Sony Vegas.
So now vegas users are out of luck if they dont have earlier versions.
They say they may in the future consider supporting vegas again.
(OMG, when will companies stop these cat and mouse games).
We can always say they dropped support because their wasn’t enough
vegas buyers etc, etc or the shortcomings of Vegas etc…..But its more than that.

My Magic Bullet Looks 1.4 from Vegas Pro 9.0 works perfectly fine in Vegas Pro 10 32-bit for me. As Steve said, Red Giant has dropped support for Sony Vegas but if you already have MBL 1.4 it should work.

I’m slight confused at this point. After visiting this page: https://www.redgiantsoftware.com/products/all/magic-bullet-looks/updates/ I can see the older versions available for download. So I snag 1.4.1 which supposedly still supported Vegas at that time. The update for 1.4.3 states that Vegas is removed, but 1.4.1 still lists Vegas. HOWEVER, the zip file itself does not contain a folder for Vegas. Does Red Giant have the wrong version up for download, or is it simply missing the Vegas folder?

    Or am I missing something…?

Nope…You are not missing a thing…The newest version
is all you are gonna get even when you click on the old version links.

If you already own MBL 1.4 you could contact Red Giant and ask for a download link. They should be able to give you one.

If you are a new customer, then you’re too late. Red Giant no longer supports Vegas so you can’t buy it anymore.

Wouldn’t I be allowed to just upload the Vegas-compatible trial version of MBLooks? If Drake has purchased MBLooks, he can just activate it with his serial number.

One place to download the Vegas compatible trial of MBLooks is here:

Thank you all. I contacted Red Giant and told them of my interest in support for Vegas. They sent me a link to the 1.4x version that supported Vegas and I installed. HOWEVER, after installing it, Vegas crashed every time I started it. I removed Looks, and I’m back in business. Any suggestions as to how I can get Looks to not crash Vegas 10 32bit?

Are you using Vegas 10 32bit, latest build, or an older build?

[Drake Hatfield] “Are you using Vegas 10 32bit, latest build, or an older build?”

I’m using Vegas Pro 10c 32-bit which is currently the latest.

Vegas is crashing Drake, because your video card does not fit the
    requirements to run it properly.
Looks is entirely GPU dependent in past versions like what you
    just got.
