    I’ve tried contacting Red Giant on this but haven’t gotten an answer back AND I have a deadline looming so hopefully someone can help out… Here’s the post I sent to Red Giant:

    “When I apply Magic Bullet to my clip I get the following error in AE 7.0:
    After Effects error: main() of Magic Bullet caught an unknown exception.
    (512)
    (25 :: 60)

    I’m trying to revise a 60i clip that just a week ago was successfully
    de-interlaced in this same AE project. I have reinstalled Magic Bullet but
    that doesn’t fix the problem. Any ideas? Thanks.”

    I have re-installed and updated all the relevant software. I hope the solution isn’t re-installing XP — there isn’t enough time for that! Thanks everyone.

    I’m getting the exact same thing! Except mine is (25 :: 101) I’m just trying to do Auto setup and it doesn’t seem to like it..

    At least I know it’s not just me! So far the only reply from Red Giant is that I should try updating to 2.1 (which I had aready done). I’m currently re-installing After Effects as a shot in the dark. I’ll report back.
