    MacPro 3.1 OS10.6.8

    Spring Cleaning… deleting duplicate media files on external hard drive (1.03TB). BUT… the files from a two drive raid on eSata port with Raid 0, will not delete. Every time I press the “delete ALL files” or even the “delete unlocked files” the delete window disappears and no action proceeds.

    I have already deleted files from a CalDigit Mini two drive Raid 0. No problem.

    Your wise councel please!

    Skip the trash, Disk Utility is your friend. It will tell you if you have permissions, and if so, you can reformat/erase the drive. Mac OS Extended (Journaled) is the format choice for Macs, if you’ve not used the program much. See if that helps…
