  • MacMini not mounting Data DVD it created!

I am (until now) a happy new owner of the new generation MacMini. I am running OSX 10.6.4 on a 2.4 GHZ Intel COre 2 Duo with 4GB of RAM. I burn DVDs using Toast 9.

I recently tried to mount a data DVD I created with Toast, with backup files I am needing again now, and the DVD does not mount, it reads as a blank DVD when I insert it into the MacMini and when I use my 3-year-old external DVD burner/drive, it just spits out…!
You can imagine how concerned I am: I have been making backups on this computer for the past 2 months, assuming I am generating healthy data DVDs and now I realize I might never recover what was on this disk!

Is there any info on this out there?

Is there a way I can recover the data, which IS recorded (at least something of it), because the DVD has record trails on it…
