Mackie MCU with Adobe PremierePro?
Hi,
I was wondering why Adobe Premiere Pro does not support using a tactile unit such as the Mackie MCU which is adopted by Apple for Soundtrack and FInal Cut Pro so you have motorized faders within your NLE.
Hopefuly the next release of Adobe Premiere Pro will support this feature?

My guess is that most people who are into audio enough to buy such a tool also do their audio editing in Adobe Audition. A video editing application is not the optimum place to edit audio. Audition is the optimum place for PC users to do that.

Hello Steven,
A very good Point I bouhgt Adobe Audition as part of the video collection but as I have Pro Tools Digo002 with the fader desk on a seperate machine find the interface for the Pro Tools alot easier. I am now looking at exporting my Audio timeline from Adobe Premeire pro into Pro Tools but found I need to convert Audio to OMF with the Automatic Premeire Pro export plugin.
What is the intergration of re-creating the audio Timeline from Adobe Premeire Pro to Audition?

To be honest, I have never done more than export each track separately from Premiere Pro and then do all the work in Audition. Then I just bring back a WAV file from Audition into Premiere Pro.
There may be a better way, but I am not up to speed on the subject.
