Mackie control within Audition
I’m another soon-to-be FCP-to-PPro switcher. Have CS5.5 and for the life of me can’t find anywhere in Audition where the control surface can be activated. I have the iPad app AC-7 Core, which uses Mackie emulation, and am using it successfully in FCP and STP, but would like to use it in Audition as well (it has a mode for Audition, so obviously it’s meant to work there). Yet it doesn’t respond when I’m in the Audition app, which usually means I have to activate a command somewhere in the program for it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I’ve been looking into this as well and as far as I’ve seen, Audition CS5.5 does not have support for control surface. It is one of the major thing Adobe will remedy in CS6.
