    Hi

I need to buy a new MacBookPro for editing on the go (have a lovely iMac).

While I edit with 4k, it’s not multi playered and it’s 100mbps or less.

I have a tight budget (post Christmas!!) so would the below work.
I’ve found this one I think I might get.

Can I get away wiht editing on the move?

    Originally released July 2018

    MacBook Pro 2.6GHz 6-core Intel Core i7

Touch Bar with integrated Touch ID sensor

    15.4-inch

    16GB of 2400MHz DDR4 onboard memory

    512GB SSD 1

    Radeon Pro Graphics 560X

I know it’s not the best, but I’ve a decent iMac indoors etc, this is just for out and about, 2nd computer when needed etc. I’d edit off internal SSD or USB/TB drive if needed…

    Thanks

That would be more than adequate if you are editing with Final Cut Pro X. That’s the MacBook Pro that I have and I’ve edited on far less. That’s actually a killer laptop. It just doesn’t have the Radeon Vega Pro GPU, but other than that, it’s top-of-the-line.
