Macbook Pro to TV Connection
Hi,
I have a Macbook Pro Laptop. Less than a year ago i was able to connect it to my tv with a DVI adaptor to phono into the TV. Using the same connectors and TV i tried to do this again recently and it doesn’t work. It is definitely the laptop thats at fault because i got a loan of a different Macbook Pro Laptop and that works just fine. When i connect my laptop to the TV and press ‘detect display’ the screen flashes but nothing happens after that.
help is greatly appreciated.

Do the display settings in system preferences see the tv? It should be recognized as a display.
**Hindsight is always 1080p**
